DHCP Superscope can resolve following type of DHCP deployment issues for multinets:
- The available address pool for a currently active scope is nearly deployed and many computers need to be added to the network. The original scope includes the full addressable range for a single network of a specified address class. We need to use another IP range of addresses to extend the address space for the same network segment.
- Client must be migrated over time to a new scope.
- We want to use two DHCP server on the same physical network segment to manage seprate logical IP network.
